Default Big Infinity Truck vs 2001 XKR

WELL....Waiting to get on the expressway when the largest Infinity truck I've ever seen hit me. All in all it wasn't that bad. Bumper cover, deck lid, taillight and metal piece beneath deck lid. Estimate close to 6,000 with used parts. Guy says he can match the paint....Ug..We shall see!

Ouch!

Looks like the lid has absorbed most of the impact. I hope it's as easy a repair as it appears to be from the angle of the photo.

Lucky this car is built like a tank. It appears he hit my bumper and slid over it hitting only my trunk. The impact actually caved in his front bumper and lower radiator support. Strangest thing ever

What a shame, you've put alot of work into your car.. now this..
Yup most people are looking back to merge and not in front of them, ex Sprain to Cross county to hutch exchange is alway exciting.

I bet that was it. If you don't know the area you may not realize there is an actual stop sign there. Think the car is mad at me that I haven't cleaned her in some time;O)

Sorry for that affair! If you need rear end body parts, here's an example of a search, using STATEWIDELIST, entering 'XK8', then 'auto parts' then picking a state from drop down menu. go state by state and get several ads, usually salvage yards that have xk8's & xkr's that they're 'breaking up'. Private ads will usually get you better prices, the yards 'know what's up' with used Jag parts.

good luck!
