His ebay Id is uniquejaguarparts on ebay motors uk. I paid less than 18.00 including shipping. The same set from a USA seller was 85.00. And think the dealer is even more. I don't see any listed on either site right now.
The leaper is easy to find. It's the new XF one. Make sure it's not from India. I ordered one a while back and it was a really bad cast aluminum one, not same as photo.

I think even better on your color. More subtle.

Geez Phil,
You could run your own forum with all of your ideas. You want to black out, I'm looking to go chrome after the wife saw an XK8 recently with chrome. What do you think about chrome on Sapphire Metallic? I think it would look good with the smoked stainless steel tips I have or should I go custom and have it done in smoked stainless to match?

I think it looks great on all the colors and if you're not into all the trouble to change the tail lights to the newer style, I've seen the chrome trim from adamesh used and it really makes a difference.
Your color would look really good with chrome, most of the darker colors do.

Maybe this will help you decide. Original tips, but should give you some idea. Chrome trim on the lights as well.

Would the chrome plinth without the jewel tail lights look wrong?

I can get the plinth, but the work to get the jewels installed seems out of reach for me right now. I've seen the older style taillights with the chrome trim from adamesh and I have to say, I don't like it.

IMO I think they look better with the chrome on the older style. And the chrome plinth would make them look right.
I agree that they don't look as good on an older model with the painted plain plinth.

I think the adamesh chrome trim for the older tail lights is a little too thick. They should have made the trim slightly thinner.

It's more on how it's installed. If you make sure the red is evenly exposed around the upper part of the reverse light, you can manipulate it a bit to fit the lower part.
Yes, it's thicker than the jewel light but light years (no pun intended) better than the plain older light. Again, IMO. And FAR easier than replacing with the newer jewel light! And much less expensive!! Just depends on what you're going for.
