After having my Apollo's powder coated, I now prefer the Silver finish. The wheels were done perfectly, but the car just looks black now. That is what I was going for, but it almost looks like an evil car.

 

Not evil. Purposeful. Looks great to me.

I prefer mine with the original chrome wheels. I think it sets it off nicely.

I am not a fan of black wheels unless they are on a black car. That's what you went and did. I like it. The evil Jag is on the prowl... look out prey.

 

Wheels look solid. I think silver would give it a sort of an unfinished look, draw too much eye. You are good, enjoy!

Not a big fan of black wheels, mostly because their patterns are difficult to see and little
visual drama when moving at very slow speed.

That being said, I can honestly say that the black wheels on your Jag make it look
sinister and badass at the same time. Well done.

LOVE the black wheels on black car! I think you should add the black mesh grille as well. Get the flat version from mina gallery or adamesh. The powder coated one with the metal trimmed edge. Then have it painted clear coat black.
It would be STUNNING!!
Take it to the full black and you'll never regret it. Only leave the badging chrome. I'm in the process of doing it to mine. Did it to my XF, blacked out every bit of chrome except badges and it nearly causes wrecks when I drive it now!!
Can't wait to finish my XK8.
