Bling under the Wing
After Max 224 posted his chrome air intake I had to have one too. Looks great. Cannot say any performance difference.
Did get a bit of recognition at this past Sundays Captree Car show Ocean Parkway, LI, NY. with the hood open.
Had to with all the Late Model Mustang GT's Chromed out supercharges and under hood sparkle.
What ever makes you feel good. Rich

It is a great aestheic improvement. Although I also have the Mina exhaust system along with their air filter box, I didn't notice much of an improvement until I did a hard reset (just disconnected the battery overnight), after which it felt more responsive. May be the placebo effect, but it's worth a shot.

Hi Max224, thank you for the recommendations. Love the new look. I too have the Mina at the tail end as well .
Sorry to say, any simple improvements are short lived. With these computer systems any induction change will fool the computer. You will feel improved performance till the computer resets itself. Also true of a hard reset.
I see you live in PA. Have you tried Ethanol Free fuel available in some parts of your state. If not, you want to see simple performance improvements you can feel, try it.
Thanks again for the heads up. Rich

Thanks Rich, great suggestion on the ethanol-free fuel. I went online to find out if there were any stations sell it that were nearby; not too encouraging. The nearest one is in Bridgeport, PA, and he sells 110-octane racing fuel. His price for the unleaded version is in the neighborhood of $ 70.00 for a 5-gallon can! Going to have to pass on that (I'm 74, and as a teenager I was able to buy so-called "high test) for $ .45/gallon). I wasn't able to find anyone else within reasonable driving distance, so another dead end. I'm going to check out the viability of the "snake-oil" fuel additives; if nothing else they may help to prevent phase separation.

Hi Max, yes, I can see the race fuel being out of the question. I too have a station here on Long Island, NY who sells Race , off road only fuel for around the same $$. you speak of. Cannot load your fuel tank in the car, gas cans only.
Not easy finding Ethanol free fuel. I did find E- Free along rt 78 near the Kutztown , PA. area. I believe in the Farm Country areas. Price was only a few cents per gallon higher than standard E-10 fuel. Good luck. Rich
