2006 XK8 approaching 61,000 miles.

I've ordered and received a full set of Wagner ThermoQuiet brake pads, both axles. Still have 5,000 to 8,000 miles left on existing pads, but I'm doing my research now to be ready for when it's time to replace them. I've read my JTIS instructions for pad replacement but they are very generic (JTIS covers up to the 2004 model year - were there any brake system changes for the 2005 and 2006 model years?).

It does not appear that the rear caliper pistons have to be pressed in and rotated at the same time by a special tool as is the case with our 2005 S-Type's rear brakes. So I'm assuming that both the front pistons and the rear pistons can be pressed into their calipers by nothing more than a C-clamp - correct or incorrect?

Also, what type of wrench or socket is required to remove and reinstall the caliper bolts so the old pads can be removed and the new pads installed? No reference in JTIS of this.

Thanks for any advice from those of you who have already changed your front and rear brake pads. I hope the XK8 process is very straightforward....
