Default Break light on.

Break light on. Was told it was sensor in break fluid reservoir. A different one didn't turn off light.

Welcome to the forum.

The brake light indicates the parking brake is not fully released. It could also be a bad switch in the pivot area of the brake lever.

When brakes "break" they stay broken!

if the brake light is on and its due to the handbrake, then you will get the handbrake warning if you try to move the car. I made the mistake of thinking an issue I had was the handbrake, but it was a throwback from an ABS issue (front left sensor). Once that was replaced, after 3 runs , it cleared itself. Torquepro will read the codes and tell you what it is.
