Default Brembo brake caliper covers?

I was thinking of painting my brake calipers and ran across these, anyone know anything about them?

Check the older threads. I seem to remember someone had tried them, but took them off. Problem with how they mounted and the hassle of taking them off every time any maintenance was done, if I remember correctly.

Philhef has non-brembo covers and likes them I think. Again, check the threads.

Get the big covers. Easy to mount with glue. I tried something similar and after two years they are sill on.

On mine you will not notice that it is a plastic cover as you do not see any of the metal parts of the brake caliper

I'd feel a lot better about $9, though I'm a little surprised that they don't get sued by Brembo for using their name.

I like how the 1st Ebay add has pictures of cars that come from the factory with Brembo brakes. They apparently cause your car to be lowers and the wheel size increased by 2" as well.

Default Custom Covers from MGP

What do you think about these just in today from MGP? These are custom made with the XKR logo etched into the steel covers. I will have them installed next week sometime and post the results once on. I have 15mm wheel spacers already installed, so this should go on easy.

Those MGP ones look really nice:-)
I have the brembo covers on mine ( they were on when I bought it) I guess they are made in china where they seem to have no concept of the word 'copyright'

I did the red MGP. They don't list them on eir site as fitting standard XK8 so I took a chance and they do. I LOVE them. Hate the fake brembo covers. And you have to re glue them every pad change. They look good until you see red plastic flying out of your wheels on the interstate.
The MGP take minutes to put on! Takes longer to take off wheels!!

Can you post some links on where to find the MPG caliper covers? Or other cover options?

If I could go back, I'd have opted for the letters on the front and the leaper on the rears. And no faux screw etchings.
I'm really liking the black set though so I may order them and sell my red set.

Did you notice any reduction in brake dust as a side benefit Philhef?
