A/C compressor O ring replace on a 2001 XK8

I have a leak on the back of my A/C compressor. Has anyone replaced the two O rings that can give me some advice. Can I replace the O rings without removing the compressor? Thanks

I replaced mine but my compressor was out. If I recall it can be done but it will not be easy.
