I own a XK8 1997 convertible Left Hand Drive and I am located in Japan. It would be appreciated if anyone here could help me with the location of `Purge Valve` I have been reading through the forum regarding it and just couldnt find purge valve as mentioned in other posts. Car had very strong smell of gas and one day engine management light came on as we connected the scanner ( I don't remember the code ) but my mechanic told me we need to change fuel tank cap, Vapor charcoal canister and Purge Valve, I bought all 3 from U.K. ( Purge Valve Genuine OEM C2N3450 ) Now we just couldnt find exact location for purge valve. It says on the cat `` To purge Valve `` but we just couldnt find it we have searched around throtle body on the firewall near break booster but no joy. Any help would be appreciated.
