Default CD Changer Magazine

I'm still old school not having updated the audio system to something from this century. Still listening to my CD's is just fine. But it would be nice to have a couple more magazines that I can swap rather than just the one that came with the car. Googling around I found these from as little as about $25 on ebay to "official" OEM ones from Jaguar for about $80. I assume the ebay ones are for Alpine and I know that the CD unit in my car is Alpine. So is there any reason not to get the generic since it is at most 1/3 the price of an "original" Jaguar?

Thanks,

Doug

FYI, the X5 my wife has uses the same magazines. "Official Jag" is meaningless.

If Walmart hasn't stopped selling such old technology they were about $4.00 a couple years ago. Fit mine just fine.

Good to hear that. Sometimes there are seemingly minor differences between OEM and copies and I just wanted to make sure the generic magazine wouldn't screw up the changer due to some cheap manufacturing or something.

Default Different changers different radios

Just realize that all changers aren't the same and neither are all magazines. You'll need to get the kind that goes into that changer but agree I've had several cars with that same kind.

Hello, I have upgraded or I guess just changed my CD Changer to a New More Modern CD System which means mostly Ipod Music and a single CD player.
This means I have 3 - 6 pack CD holders or magazines, they worked perfect available .
What is fair price! $25.00 each plus shipping ? If interested let me know.

Happy Motoring...

Do you still have any of the XKR CD magazines available? My 2000 XK8 came magazine-less.

My 2000 XK8 is also missing the magazine. Does anyone know where I can get one?
