Hi,

Does anyone have or know where I can get a drawing of the center console? The panel covering my ashtray/cigar lighter does not work properly,
and before I go charging in there I would prefer to have an idea what I am looking for.

To remove and work on the ashtray you will need to remove the entire center console and turn it over to access the mounting. I have attached a picture.

Before you start pulling it to bits can I ask if by "it does not work properly" means it does not open easy? i.e You push down on the front and it does not open as it should? If this is the case simply get a can of WD40, or similar, with a straw. Open up the flap if you can and spray down the back of it where the hinges are. Grab the front with your fingers and work the flap up and down to ensure the lubricant penetrates everywhere. You will then find it opens nicely. Especially after its had some time to work.
