Search for Jag Lovers forum. You may have to join to view the posts there. There is a blow by blow description of the process at the top of the XK8 section with photos. I used it as a guide along with camlock tools I borrowed from the site. Pretty staightforward. And yeah, with a '97, why not change the pump while you're there.
