I have not been able to locate paint for my 2004 XKR portfolio door mirror mount. The paint is Jupiter Red (EDR), the cladding is a metallic gray.I've tried every source I can think of without any luck ! any suggestions ?

 

Things must be a bit backward in Oregon ..Have you not heard of Google or ebay .
Its also called Monza Red You will also need Lacquer to finish it.

 

On the earlier cars, the mirror mount matches the trim around the glass, which is Dorchester Grey.

At some point, the glazing trim went to a satin black, which may be the case on your Portfolio. It sounds like Jaguar didn't extend that colour change to the mirror mounts.

Or try Duplicolor wheel coating. It's close in color and durable. Somewhere on this forum I read about it and painted my door waist seals. It turned out fairly well. Better than crusty anyway.
