Cylinder 4 for that year engine is the first cylinder on the left side of the block as viewed seated in the drivers position.

I don't think so. The A bank is the right side from the cockpit and #4 is the last cylinder, closest to the fire wall.

CORRECT
The numbering changed with the introduction of the 4.2 liter engine!!!!!!!!
