In my first few months of ownership of my 2002 XK8 convertible I have replaced a broken driver side mirror and the front shocks and shock tower mounts. I am now looking at the upper and lower control arm items - bushings/ball joints/etc.

I've done a little searching on the site (admittedly not a ton), just not finding much specific - is there a little cheat sheet of compatible Lincoln (or gasp...even Ford) parts for these cars?

not sure about Lincoln/Ford but try the forum sponsors who most give forum members discounts. you can also find good deals from Rock Auto and Parts Geek. You do not need to buy control arms - all bushings & ball joints can be replaced although the lower ball joints are quite the PITA. If you want poly bushings - powerflex is a good choice. There is also a sticky at the top of this forum for alternative parts - may find some info there

I already have upper ball joints purchased from Rock Auto and am about to buy at least the upper control arm power flex bushings, probably the front sway bar bushings as well.

I'm just looking at other future maintenance items/upgrades and wondering what all the options may be out there.

Very few select engine parts (misc. seals, secondary tensioners, oil filter) cross over from the Lima 3.9 to the AJ28 4.0.
