What is the proper way to check the Cylinder Compression.

 

Based on my information:
After bringing engine to operating temperature:
Disable ignition system from firing
Disable fuel system from delivering fuel
Prop throttle body wide open
Thread compression gauge into each cylinder and crank engine approx.
5-6 revolutions to attain reading - record each cylinder reading
(I mention threaded compression gauge vs the rubber tip hold in gauge for a more accurate reading)
Upon completion, you may encounter a number of fault codes that must be cleared
