2003 XKR convertible with 93k miles about 100 miles away at a $6000 asking price. Pics look very good. J gate trashed and driver's bolster rough. Needs a new windshield so that's a $1000 unless I can find one and do myself. Big worry is top has to be assisted up and down and also be manually latched. All rams and lines replaced. I searched threads on convertible problems and found nothing on this particular issue. Most involve green shower. Guessing no automatic latching is from a bad latch or sensor. Anyone have these issues? If drive to see, anything specific I should be looking for other than pump reservoir full.
Familiar with NA AJ27 engines. Not with SC. Anything special to look for?

I'll bet you can get the windshield replaced for under $500. Now repairing that driver's seat... that's gonna be closer to $1,000 if you have an upholstery shop do it correctly.
