Default Console removal

There are 2 switches in the console by the shifter. One has an S on it. Mine has come loose and fallen down in. It appears that I can snap it back into place if I can remove that area and reinstall from underneath. I don't known how to get it apart without breaking it. The only screw visible is a torx that I removed, but that did not help. Any suggestions? Thanks. Jeff Labermeier 1998 xk8 convert.
