Convertible headliner spray paint.
I'm so sick of cleaning my headliner just to have the stains reappear in a couple months!!
I had a friend recently use a fabric spray from duplicolor to actually spray his carpet, seats and door fabric in an old Kia from stained gray to black and I've got to say I'm stunned!! It looks perfect and feels soft and just like fabric.
I'm really itching to use it on my headliner and go black and also the a pillars and stationary frame at roof latch. My 2002 is black on black and I HATE the gray showing from the window.
Has anyone ever tried this product? It even on youtube.

Lets assume it works great as you say.
Unless you remove the headliner you will be spraying upside down so the entire interior will need to be masked. Then the deteriorated orange foam powder between the fabric and the liner will likely still penetrate the fabric discolor the black in time with brownish orange dust.
An experienced automotive upholstery shop can make and install a new custom color headliner if you do not want the factory colors available off the shelf.

Never tried the spray, but I'd have to wonder if just replacing the headliner and A-pillar fabric might be easier than trying to mask it all off on the car. And if you were planning to take them all out to spray it, then you've already done 90% of the work to replace the material.
Might even be a chance for an upgrade to ultrasuede or something like it.
Another member just did it in fact:

It comes back because the lining foam has turned to powder and the powder is trapped between the two fabric layers.
I've gotten quotes for major $ to replace the headliner. It's the crazy labor!! I may simply keep cleaning and recover the a pillars and top fixed headliner in black suede. If I didn't need new tires, I'd go ahead with the full headliner.

No sign of foam deterioration on my 07 XK, which has lived most of its life in Florida, fingers crossed. I have seen the problem on XK8 models as late as 2005/6.
