The Hydraulics went out on the top. I can put the top up and down and lock it in to place. but I can not get the back windows up.
I have filled the Hydraulic reservoir and closed the petcock. but no joy.
I susspect the right ram is not in the full closed. and hint as to where is is and how I can close the ram manually.

The ram is behind the right side rear upholstery and the micro switch is at the top. I had a erratic issue with the windows not going up and got used to once a month jumping the 'up' relay in the trunk.

The switch is not easily accessible, but the relays in the trunk are. This link gives the procedure: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-closed-71304/

Hi Brian, the instruction to lower the top manually requires pulling downward on the top hardware located in each quarter behind the headliner. this process will push the piston in just a bit to allow you to lower the top by hand. Yo have to expand the piston again which locks the top hardware ( brace) in the fully extended position before the rear windows will work. It is a safty. Hope I am clear enough.

Hi Brian,

Just curious....do you see any green fluid puddles anywhere on the ground?

Yea I had green fluid coming out of the light assembly. Jumping the relays worked great to raise and lower the rear windows.

I operate my number is on the website.

Let me know if I can assist you in anyway replacing your hydraulic hose. The Jaguar Part Numbers are:

Jaguar Part HJB8252AA or Jaguar Part HJC8252AA (right side RAM or passenger side), Jaguar Part HJB8253AA (left side RAM or drivers side) and Jaguar Part HJB8256AB (pump to latch)
