Default Convertible top up or down for storage?

For winter here in Idaho, I don't really plan on driving my Jaguar much so it's going to be sitting in the garage. Is it best to leave the top up or down, or does it make a difference? Seems like with the top up the system is pressurized, which could lead to leaks?

Am I worrying over nothing?

On a side note, I've got the Ivory interior and the center console has always had a slight greenish tint to it and is worn more than anything else in the interior. Almost as if it had been scrubbed really hard to remove what I'm guessing is leaking fluid from the top. The system seems fine and the roof actually looks quite new, I suspect it has leaked at some point in the past and been repaired. Guess I'm just paranoid about it leaking again.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I believe it is best for the canvas material to have the top up so that permanent creases to not occur in the folds.

I would agree with storing it with the top up. It keeps all those nasty looking wrinkles from setting in to the top material.

look at you making links and stuff to your picture pages...you go

Saw your hand, but didn't see the green tint you referred to. If it really bothers you, get the center console 'dyed' by one of those mobile interior repair guys. It'll last forever since you don't really sit on it or rub around on that part of the interior. Or do you?

Re-dye it your self with Leatherique leather dye. Works great.
