Default Converting outdated factory phone to an iphone

So a few of my Jaguars come with the installed factory phone option, which is now obsolete. I'm wondering if there are any members who have converted their phone system to work with an iPhone. Is it even possible? And do you like it?

Thanks!

Nope, totally different wiring. Do a search on iPhone hookups. I have a Lightning cable hanging over my ashtray coming out of the console that delivers an AUX-in and charging capabilities to my iPhone 5 with the factory Alpine stereo. Though now I can't remember the name of it... Splits or takes over the CD changer input and connects back there. Anyway, that's the way to go. Disconnect the old but hang onto it as I did for the retro cool factor!

Edit: Bluetooth is a whole other story, but can be done as well. I haven't.
