Default Coolant hose part No ?

Hi guys,

I've managed to break a coolant hose on my XK8 while checking the secondary tensioners and have no idea what the part no is. the hose is plastic with rubber type ends and goes from the reservoir to the thermostat tower.

Second question - does anyone know where to get a radiator drain plug for a 2000 XK8. according to my local Jag dealer they are only available with a complete radiator. I have had to remove mine a couple of times now and am a bit concerned that it needs replacing.

Thanks

It is the bleed hose - MJA4560DB but I just used some rubber tubing to replace mine when it sprung a leak - cost about $4 for the length of tubing vice the cost of the Jag part.

You may want to try SNG Barratts or jagbits for the radiator plug

The Drain Plug is available separately:

Part Number : JLM20622

Tell your local Jaguar Dealer to look under "Unillustrated Parts" in the radiator and Hoses section of JEPC.

Thanks guys.

Thought that the dealer must be wrong about the drain plug but couldn't find one.

I also used a section of rubber fuel line hose when I replaced that factory plastic bleed hose on my wife's 2006 XK8 back in November. Much stronger, maybe five bucks total, and I threw away the Norma clamps and replaced them with conventional worm-drive clamps at the same time. No more plastic cracking hose and no more leaking Norma clamps, a win-win solution all around....

+1 Straight hose replacement here too. Also junked the clamps for standard worm-drive style.
