Does anyone know the part number of this hose? I cant seem to find it in the SNG Barret catalog and I have never been able to get JTIS installed on my laptop

I just replaced that hose (and the EGR cooler hose) on a 2006 S-Type R.
They run under the intake to the thermostat mount housing and coolant outlet pipe.

I THINK it is AJ83706, but it might be superseded.

The hose IS NOT in the cooling section!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy the other one and do BOTH the throttle feed and EGR return (AJ83921) since you will be under the intake anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look in the
XK8 Coupe/Convertible From (V) A30645/AIR AND FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEMS/AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM COMPONENTS #3

and
XK8 Coupe/Convertible From (V) A30645/ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION SYSTEMS/EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION SYSTEM #14

Replace the 'loop' hoses also!!!!!!

Motorcarman: thanks for the quick reply! I think this hose might be different on a XK8, as it twists around for about 8" and then connects to an accessible tube which _may_ go under the manifold but it's certainly not rubber there.

At some point I'll probably replace all the hoses but they all seem to be in excellellent shape for now........except for this one that I managed to bodge up on a different mission.

You wouldn't have found the relevant information in JTIS even if you did have it installed.

Here's the JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) page for the AirCon, Heating, Ventilation Pipes and Hoses:

send that pic to JAGBITS (email c/s) they will help you. I had no clue on some of the smaller hoses on my 03 xk8 when I did all hoses, pics seemed to help them find the part right away.

Found it. It is a AJ88092. Actually it was in the Barrett catalog (in the EGR section) as well as Jagbits. Got it from Jagbits as the shipping was quicker
