For the last couple of days I have been replacing the engine harness on an AJ26 1997 xk8.
I am finally down to the last three plugs on the harness.Two for the AC compressor which I can see and one for the cranck shaft sensor which I can not see.
There is a short harness that goes from the plug on the sensor itself and travels along the engine block and seems to end around or behind the AC compressor.
Need I loosen remove the compressor? Any other way of reaching the connector?

 

It's probably been ten years since I have done that job but I think one of the 2 connectors behind the A/C compressor IS for the CKPS. The other is for the compressor.
