Perhaps a weird request but I was wondering if anyone has any photos available for what things are present under the top of the dashboard in the area behind the glovebox, front heating/ac air vents, etc. I will eventually be bringing my car back to the mechanic to continue to try and track down the odd thunking noise I have been dealing with. The more I listen the more I am convinced there is something rattling around in that area (other mechanics have agreed) and the next step would be to start looking behind the front console under the dash.

But it would be nice to see in advance what things are behind there and I just do not get a sense of this by looking at the JTIS. If someone has done an interior tear down and has photos those would likely be much more useful.

Well obviously your problem is the green bit just north and east of center!

Actually, that is exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping to see if there was anything obvious back there that could possibly loosen up or move around. But I am more interested on what things on more towards the passenger side versus the driver's side.
