How do you delete a post and attachment?

If the EDIT function is still at the bottom of your message, Just scroll over the message and replace with something like DELETED.

NO! If you have a problem with a thread title or post content, PM a moderator.

To summarise the restrictions:
1. members cannot change a thread title once it's posted
2. members have a limited time to edit posts

Moderators can make edits to both thread titles and post content at any time.

The reason for this restriction by forum owner Internet Brands goes back to a time when some members were re-inventing history - posting something that was later challenged or proved incorrect. They were then going back and editing their original post which made a nonsense of the subsequent posts.

Doesn't apply to Chuck's "Upper Shock Mount's" posts but this is a useful thread for me to add some explanation why edits are restricted.
