I took my visor off to fix the clips and realized how much more I like it without a visor so I am going to build a visor that I put up when I want to use it vs one that stays up. It really opens up my field of view without the visor, i am 6'3"

i have the material to recover the front part that holds the visor so I can make it look nice but i need to design some type of clip that will be safe and not too visually offensive.

The new visor can be a simple piece of plastic since it is only being used when needed and i do not need the bulk of a mirror. I could put magnets in the headliner and on the new visor but not sure if that would be as safe as some other type of fastener.

Any bright ideas?
