Default Disappearing Hyd. Fluid??

I raised the top on my '06 XK8 after noticing that it was slowed, lowering and raising the top. It reached the windshield latch and stopped. After several tries, I retired for the nite. Today I checked the fluid level and found it down 1/4" below the bottom line on the reservoir. My local mechanic says that the fluid is going somewhere, after we had filled it about 6months(15 top cycles) ago. He seems to think it could be pooling in the floor board.
I have not seen any articles on the infamous "Green Shower" for the later model XK's. Do not know if that problem was fixed on the later models???
Has anyone had a similar problem. I maybe tearing up my floor carpeting soon.

run your hand on the lines at the pump - if they're not wet, remove the subwoofer panels and check for leakage around the rams

Check the undercarriage just forward of the rear wheels. That's where the oil ends up when the cylinders leak.
