Do not see neighborhood streets on GPS - HELP PLEASE

Having great difficulty trying to get neighborhood level of streets to show on my newly purchased 2003 Jag XKR with theNavigation system...have done the changing of scale so that I am down to the 1/20th of a mile, but none of the smaller streets show up...smaller streets that have been here since 1950s mind you...is there something that I am missing on my settings??

pleaseadvise before I put a second high heeled shoe through the GPS screen...!...thanks much for the help in advance...

Have you checked your region to make sure it is correct? That may force only the major arterial streets to display.

My home street has been in existence since at least the early 1940's, and it's not on the GPS. I live in a fairlydecent sizedtown in central Florida, and only the major thoroughfares show up (region is correct). Tampa seems to have good coverage, though. I have the 2005 disk too, which, as far as I know, is the last update you can get. I'd pay $200 for a complete U.S.-spec. disk; I don't know why they can't offer that for us.

I region is set correctly for GA. I even changed the region back to CA where I purchased the car from, inserted a few destination points in that region (smaller streets showed up go figure), then reset the region to GA and tried again to no avail. I have been through all the settings (at least i think i have) in looking for an overall reset function thinking that may solve the mystery.

With respect to the disk, are you saying that it is region specific? If so, that may be the culprit as this car as been living in northern cali for last 4 years. Where then could I purchase another disk?

Ok, Jimi, this is what I found. I changed the disc to Georgia region, typed in the addy search box "VICTORY", hit enter, and then allowed me to put in 648, whence it came up with two options to select...either one of these you?

I'd love to upgrade, but it only shows 2007 XK discs...my year (2003) is not available. I believe that the newest software is Denso operated, not Alpine. At least that is what I have read. Can you find another screen to show me?
