Default Drip Moulding for 2005 Jaguar XKR

Have tried everywhere possible even scrappies cannot get two new drip mouldings for my Jaguar XKR 2005. Had full body refurbish and really annoying that Jaguar no longer make these! They advertise you can get parts for e type etc. Why not for a relatively newer XKR. Anyone got any ideas where I could get them.

Apparently the drip moulding is specific for 2005-2006 model years.

Productions numbers totaling less than 1400 might have something to do with available spares.

Not sure what is different about your drip mouldings vs. 2004 (which is still available for LH from Jaguar Classic Parts).

Have a look at this site, they are selling them at £19.00 each, I have ordered 2 and will report back when they are fitted.

I have the generic textured/patterned finish ones refererred to in your link, I expect only a Jag (X100) owner would know they are not to the original finish. They work OK and only cost £4 ($5) for both sides.

Will be interested to hear how they fit/look.
