do you know what standard is the ODBll on jaguar xkr year 2005?

No (the standard in the 2001-2002 XK8 is OBD and OBDII, and the OBD II port is an ISO-15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID, 500 Kbaud), but there is a way to check if you have access to certain scanners. The ELM327 scanners can be used to do this by using a custom PID, or may come native. There is a standard OBD PID (mode: 01, code: 1C) on the ECM (ID 7E8 if it's the same), when queried will give the standards the vehicle conforms to. There are several other things that may work in a 2005, but this is certain to work.

Are you having problems connecting to a scanner?

Another data point is that, on our cars, the OBDII data is only directly available over the old serial ISO-9141 protocol. There is also an active CAN bus as well as an SCP bus, but standard OBDII is not available over those networks, meaning a generic OBDII tool has to get its data from the serial bus. Confusingly, all the same data is available over the much faster CAN, but coded in a proprietary way (thankfully decoded by @crbass ).
