Emission problem solved (fuel pump and mas.) what drive cycles work to clear monitors ? 1999 xk8

 

Attached is a drive cycle outline for setting all monitors. Are you currently reading P1000 on the OBD scan? You will be looking for a P1111 when completed.

 

Code is now reading p1000

 

So after months of drive cycles and this not resetting i have some progress. I cleaned the fuse box next to the obd connector and the obd connector with electrical cleaner. I cleaned and reseated all the multi-pin connectors on the TB and did the same for all the relays around the ecu. Now after clearing out p1638 code the cat monitor finally reset along with all the other monitors except the O2s. As this monitor reset twice before i don't think it will be an issue but isn't it odd that now its the last one to reset? You wouldn't think the ccm or cat monitor would be able to reset without the O2s but the only thing i know for sure is that i don't understand anything. Just really happy for a change/improvement in circumstances. I do feel closer to p1111 but we'll see....
