Hi everybody I`m new here so please bare with me as I explain what problems I`m having.I just bought a 1997 XK8 with 73k and I`ve noticed that the driver seat is not working so the first thing I looked at are the fuses and noticed that a 20amp was blown.So I tried to replace it but as soon as It touches the fuse box it blows.Anyone has had this problem please advise on how and what to do to troubleshoot. The earlier cars had a common problem of the wiring harness under the seat getting abraded and shorting out. Try that first.

Hey testpoint tried to check the harness under the seat,man o man there`s not much room to work with.Gotta spend more time on it.
