Red face Larini Exhaust

Hi everyone

I am after some advice. I have a 99 4.0 XKR coupe and, like everyone else I speak to, I wish it would sing a bit louder!

I thought about Blueflame but it was so cheap I cant help thinking that it just isnt going to be up to the standards of the rest.

I then looked at Quicksilver, Paramount and Larini and have kind of settled on a Larini sport (after some enquiries they can do me one with the 4 outlets I was really after) . Has anyone heard this system or does any one have any reasons why I should go for one of the other systems?

Many thanks

Karl

'99 XKR? Haven't seen one of those. Thought the "R" series started in 2000.

Hi Karl,
Our Top Picks Hi Karl,
I can't comment on the Larini System, as I have no basis to form an opinion. However, I do have the MacLeod X-Pipe I System on my XKR...............and I absolutely love it! The pipes are all heavy duty SS, mandrel bent and of course, utilize the X-pipe technology. Mine was one of the earlier prototype systems. They have since improved upon it, and now have a X-Pipe II in production. Bill MacLeod is one of the most knowledgeable Jag XK8/R aficionados that you would ever want to meet, and he developed this system out of his love for the car. He is also one of the most **** people in the world, and in this case, that is definitely a good thing! Everyone that has this system has been more than satisfied, and many of these guys previously had other systems like Borla, so they have a good frame of reference for comparison. In any case, I would take a good hard look at it.....................I don't think that you would be disappointed!

Regards,
Brian
