Default Driver window

Me again. Along with my tranny woes, I noticed that when I open my drivers door the window does a quick down-up when I lift the handle instead of staying in the slightly lowered position until I close the door. i.e. The window is in the fully up position by the time I close the door.

I tried doing the window retraining procedure but to no avail. Thoughts?

Before you start pulling things apart spray WD40 into the door latch mechanism and work the door open and closed with the window open then let it sit for an hour or so. The door latch is often forgotten when it comes time for lubrication and often sticks not allowing the micro switches to work properly.

Mine does the same. I notice however that while exiting the car, if I pull in on the armrest while releasing the latch, the window performs normally, ie, no double jog. I think it relates to the top of the glass being pinched a bit too tight in the roof seal. Try a wee bit of silicone in the upper seal.
