Hi Guys I have a 2001 XKR Convertible and I'm having problems with the drivers door lock. It started last week i used the remote to unlock the car and the lock started cycling for a few seconds, then all was well for a few days went to lock it with the remote and only the passenger door locked and alarm went off. unlocked it with remote and locked it with the key, both doors locked all ok, so thought id use the key until I get time to look at it, but today I unlocked the drivers door with the key both doors unlocked, but now the drivers door wont lock at all, the key wont turn in the lock to lock it. It will turn to the unlock position but feels solid if I try turn to the lock position. Cant lock the drivers door from inside either push the handle in and it springs back out again there is no clicking or sounds from the door when I try locking it The passenger door works fine. The battery is only a few months old and car is driven at least 40 miles a day. Any ideas or suggestion's would be appreciated

Lock sorted It was the solenoid on the door lock. Managed to get a second hand one from a breakers yard took about 2 hours to change it out all working fine now
