Driver's door window adjustment - front to rear

I know the there is no front/rear adjustment for the front window. However, I bet your problem is because the rear window is going up too high. The rear window actually moves forward as it rises. There is probably a mechanism that is supposed to stop it, but it your case a bolt is loose.
I have a similar but opposite problem on my convertible. When the top is up the rear windows don't seem to go up quite far enough. It leaves a very small gap between the front and rear windows and I can hear wind through the gap, although it is barely visible. I've just been grabbing the rear windows and pulling them up and forward, and then rolling up the front window. Then it makes a good seal. I need to crack open the back of the car and see if I can adjust them.

It tilts the front of the window in or out. The one on the back edge of the door does the same thing to the back edge of the glass. There is a big bolt in the middle of the door which sets the upper limit of travel. None of those adjust the forward/backward position of the window.
I almost wonder if your window has come off of the little track along the back edge of the door. Click on the link to my youtube page down below in my signature and look for the videos on window adjustment (2) and how to replace the latch mechanism. The one about the latch mechanism actually shows how to remove the rear guide piece. It might be helpful for figuring out what's wrong.

There is a 'tilt' function in addition to the three that Reverened mentioned. It allows the back end of the glass to either lower or raise. If the bolt has worked loose, it'll fall all the way down, and the glass will corner will lower, resulting in what you describe.
the nut-over-bolt located about 6-inches from the latch side of the door, about 1/2 way down. It should be noted/identified in our FAQ thread link to the window adjustment, if its not in Reverend's video.
