Driving me nuts, what is it???
I posted a question a week or so ago about a knurled knob I found in my 2001 XK8 that I had no idea where it came from or where it goes, but only got one reply, which didn't help.
I have an additional photo and some numbers, maybe someone will recognize this thing. I found it in the spare tire well but after over an hour of examining the entire trunk there is no place that it fits. I'm pretty sure it goes somewhere on the car as it says "Made in England"
It has a series of numbers LJC 6570 AA X 17W 92-900035 X that run in a circle on the bottom rim. The X's are exactly opposite of each other. I went to several OEM parts websites and tried all the combinations of the numbers I could think of with no luck.
I know as soon as I throw it out, and the moment the garbage truck drives out of sight, I will find out where it belongs. In the mean time, I'm slowly sinking into insanity.
