Default Droopy sun visors

Recently, my sun visors have started drooping down a bit. They snap up and down crisply, but when up, there remains an inch or two of space between the visors and the header. Certainly not a big deal, but a little annoying. Is there a way to get them to close up nice and flat again?

Thanks for any tips!

Where the metal rod holding the visor enters the windscreen frame, there is a plastic cover. It snaps off with a small flat blade screwdriver. This will expose the screws that hold the visor to the frame. Tighten them up a bit , snap the covers back on , and you should be good

+1 Barry is right. I was thinking of the mirror because it is also a common problem.

Thought so. I came across Sam's video and watched it, anyway. I always learn something new from Sam. And someday, no doubt, my mirror will act up.

Be sure to use LockTite or some other thread lock on the screws, or you'll be fixing them again in another 10,000 miles now that they've loosened once.

Thanks all for the tips. I checked the screws and they are actually tight. I'll live with the droop for now and will eventually remove them to see if I can snug them up on the rod they rotate around. The driver's side isn't so bad; it's the right side that annoys me more.
