Dropped valve seats

Thanks for the quick response. I am doing all the work besides ordering rebuilt heads. Is there a way to tell the bottom end is shot before changing heads and removing engine from car? the car started and moved before diagnosing the misfires on passenger side cylinder bank.

I do not think you can check the bottom end in situ, but I will defer to the experts on that.
Otherwise you roll the dice on warpage/bottom end, which could be a money save, but could be very expensive.
Personally in similar situations I have rolled the dice and won, and rolled the dice and lost- it's a matter of risk tolerance and willingness to spend money. Here is the formula I usually use:
$$$$+tons of time= DON'T roll dice
$$$$$$$+limited time=DON'T ROLL DICE
$+tons of time=roll dice, can always do over
$+impatience/limited time= roll dice, hey it just might work! if it fails, chalk it up to being impatient.

You need to pull the main and rod caps off, pull the crank and look at the bearings closely for damaged surfaces and run a clearance check, then you will know if the bottom end is toast. There is no substitute for measuring and testing.
A bit hard to do that, like I said..... Sandwich plates....... the mains are in the sandwich plate, not like old skool stuff where you drop the sump and away you go, it is not even easy to take the rod bearings out as you need to drop the lower sandwich plate to get to them...... To do any of that you have to pull the engine
