Default DSC System Fault

I had a nice drive yesterday on the freeway. Stopped a few times for shopping, etc. On the last leg (surface streets near home) I stopped again for another errand and when restarting the car I got a DSC System Fault message and an amber warning light. I drove home, parked in the garage, and turned off car. After restarting the message and amber light were gone (following the system check).

Is this just one of those intermittent electrical gremlins like when I got the driver airbag light once and then gone after restart?

This sometimes happens if there is a fluctuation (drop) in battery voltage and also if the computer isnt left to do the system check.
