Ok, I want to replace my air filter and clean the intake tube and throttle body. I understand how to do it except on thing : removing the breather pipe from the valve cover. I've twisted and pinched it but can't get it off. I don't want to 'muscle' it off for fear of breaking something. Is there some easy trick to it?

Just squeeze the sides together at the base and it should pull off. It's located on this collar (arrowed in red):



Quite right not to 'muscle' it. Jaguar plastic is more expensive than gold!
