ECM change

Does anyone know if you can replace the ECM on a 2002 XK* with a used one from the same year and model. Or does it have to be programmed by the dealer? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes you can do that, but it will require programming and immobilization reset by the dealer diagnostic gear.
