ECU compatibility

I am being told by lots of different site that my XKr V8 supercharge can't be up graded on the ECU and others say it can LNC1410CA 079700-8480 can you tell me if I am being told the right info

I'm pretty sure it can. Tuners can push all kinds of tolerances to increase boost.
