ECU Problems
I had a major problem with my 1997 XK8 engine intermittently stalling and then restarting, eventually it was deemed it must be the ECU at fault.
I sent mine off to ECU Repair Centre, Holland who found a fault, repaired it and now the car is running perfectly.
Highly recommend this company.
