Default EGR pipe lower gasket missmatch

Can anyone explain this, the correct gasket for my car is AJ82340 according to the SNG catalogue and the Jaguar classic parts web site.

But you can see from the pic below it is the wrong size. Has anyone come across this before. I have reused the original one for the time being but need to get to the bottom of this.

Just back from the Jag dealership, they thought perhaps there had been a manufacturing issue and are going to investigate.

Hi RaceDiagnostics,
I need to order one for my XKR (4.2L, supercharged, 2006). How did you resolve this issue? Also, Terry's says it's no longer available. Any idea of alternative parts?
thanks in advance,
JW
