Electrical Fault

Electrical Fault
2001 XK8 is getting funky again!
I put a new battery in this summer, so that shouldn't be the issue.
After putting the top down, I got an "electrical fault" message, and the shifter won't go out of park.
I took out the star screw and did the manual override to get it out of park.
When I got home, the top wouldn't go up.
So I did the manual top raising, and jumped the 3 and 5 pin to raise the quarter windows, but how do I get the door windows up?
There must be a jump system to that too? I hope!
I tried to jump the 3 and 5 of the relay in back of the relay that controls the quarter windows, but all that did was make a click and get my paper clip really hot!
I've searched for an answer on the forum, but come up short.
Any idea on how to raise the drivers and passenger door windows?
I'm going to disconnect the battery all night and try again in the morning.
I just paid the car off yesterday! I'm not happy!

Key in drivers door and held at "lock" doesn't raise windows.
Key fob won't work either.
I just disconnected positive battery cable and I'll let it sit all night.
Really not looking forward to a 45 minute one way ride to drop it off at my mechanic!
Did I mention I just paid the loan off yesterday!!!!! Can you say "frustrated"?

Haven't checked the inertia switch yet.
I reconnected the battery this morning, and the quarter windows automatically went down! Had to jump pins 3/5 again to get them up.
Turned on key, and both door windows went up! Then "electrical fault" came back on the dash and the windows wont move, key fob won't work.
And to top it off, the passenger door window went down a little when I opened the door, and it won't go back up.
It's gonna be a noisy ride to the mechanic!

I ended up bringing the car to the Jag dealer. They had it for 12 1/2 weeks! Thank god they gave me a 2013 Range Rover as a free loaner car. After 3 months, they discovered that the problem was the head rest modules were both shorting out. New modules were $2100. I opted for them to just disconnect the modules, and not have movable head rests. Never used them anyways. The said I was luck the seats didn't catch on fire, the wires were pinching and the insulation was worn away, they were melting on the inside. $915 later, the car is back home!
