Emission / Engine Management Problems

Emission / Engine Management Problems
Hi All,
I have some engine management issues on my 2000 XKR. Plugged in my mate's computer and this is what it came back with;-
P0174 System too lean (Bank2)
P0160 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity detected (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
P0420 Catalyst System efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
I know some of this is due to a faulty Lambda Sensor, but as there are 4, 2 before the cats and 2 after, which one has anyone got any ideas? It's a RHD UK car.
Cheers Pete

Check the wiring loom and connections to the downstream oxygen sensor on Bank2, which is on the LH side when viewed from the driver's position. There may be a faulty connection or broken wiring, or an open circuit within the sensor itself.
DTC P0420 usually means the catalytic converter on the RH side (Bank1) needs to be replaced. In my experience, rarely has replacement of the oxygen sensors eliminated P0420 from returning and turning on the MIL.

Great thanks,
I kind of worked out bank 1 on a UK car is the drivers side and bank 2 psn side. I will tend to the wiring on that bank 2 sensor 1st and see if its just that, and check the computer again. Then at some point I must fit that new stainless system which has been sitting in my lounge for ages, I think my wife might kill me soon over this lol.
That aside what I would really like, especially as that CAT might be shot is a pair of sports CATs, but they look like fortunes to me, not sure I can face moding those inline jobs, any idea where I can get a pair of sports CATs not for a kings ransom?

Actually, reference to Bank1 and Bank2 is the same regardless of RHD or LHD.
Prior to performing any modifications to the exhaust, be sure the vehicle can pass any emissions tests as part of MOT or other emissions-related testing.
There are UK-based suppliers for modifications and parts; check in the vendor's list from the drop-down menus under 'Marketplace' at the top of the forum pages.
