Engine coolant Low, Battery not charging and Low oil pressure
Hi
I was refitting my refurbished wood trim and when I start the car I got Engine coolant Low, Battery not charging and Low oil pressure. I also notice the petrol tank level is not working.
I have checked the battery and fully charged it and it looks in fine health.
It starts and runs as normal.
Just noticed that none of the gauges are working
Don't know what happened to my signature with make model and year. 2001 (manufactured) Jaguar XK8 Convertible
Before I start diving down many rabbit holes any idea's?

I have done the same thing, but with the ABS system plug, I even bent some of the pins when I latched it, and my heart sank when I saw what I’d done.
Heaven and all the saints were with me, and I was able to straighten out all the pins without any of them snapping off.
just posting this as a “mea culpa” advisory to all: take your time and don’t force these multi-pin connections. If they don’t latch fairly easily, back off and investigate why…..

I was lucky. No bent pins. The latch which pulls over the connector to push it home has broken on one side so was not pushing it home. The aging plastics are something to watch out for, need to handle them with kid gloves.
My old Mk2 is far less sensitive.
I see you had a Spitfire too. Took mine for an MOT and the mechanic went a bit white when he looked under the car. The body had completely rusted away from the floor pan. Just the carpets holding it together.
I had a Kawasaki S1 (the 250) too, not quite the window maker you had but at 17 years old it was quite a step up from my FS1E.

With “mobile site” there’s no sig info.
